Local History
After all that the Sakai family went through – with immigration, building a farm, WWII internment and a post-war return to their beloved farm – it was a fitting tribute to name this project on their old family farm after them. Illustrator Jane Shasky helped us give the logo a Japanese calligraphy brush style and a nice cedar sprig for flavor.
